2010 – present
Back in 2010, I became one of the very first writers for poetsandquants.com. Ps&Qs is the go-to source for everything related to business schools and business education. Since 2010, I’ve worked on a freelance basis. In this role, I’ve profiled The World’s Top 40 Business Professors Under 40 Years Old, written about The World’s Top 50 Business Professors, interviewed MBA students who happen to be Miss New Jersey, and former NFL quarterback, and (my favorite) interviewed and written about Divya Narendra. Yes, that’s the guy who sued Mark Zuckerberg for stealing his Facebook idea! Thanks to my awesome editor (who’s seriously one of the kindest people I’ve ever worked for) and his partnership with other media, several of my articles have been published by Fortune and CNN Money. In August of this year (2017), I joined Poets & Quants as a full-time staffer.
2014 – 2017
At AWeber, I significantly boosted the company’s byline article placements like this one by the CEO and this one by the CMO. I’ve also grown especially fond of infographics and visual storytelling. Check out this infographic created by me and one of AWeber’s visual designers (the one behind this very site you’re on!) and this one with stats that made it all the way to FORBES!
2011 – 2014
Never thought in a million years I’d find myself working in financial services, much less find pleasure in it. I started out as a Copy Editor then saw an opportunity to create a PR path for myself. By convincing the higher-ups about the power of and need for PR, I successfully launched the company’s first ever public relations program. The first year of the program, we achieved over 100 media placements and mentions.
2006 – 2010
Every journey has a starting place. For my PR career, it began at Villanova. After college, this was my very first PR job and where I truly learned and fell in love with my craft. Major accomplishments include media coverage in The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek and Financial Times. Oh, and I ran point on the the business school’s annual graduation ceremony (3,500+ guests) five years in a row.
2007 – 2009
Working at a university has its perks. One of them being a steep discount on education that you simply cannot turn down. That wasn’t my intent when I applied for the PR job there, but getting my Master’s was a huge perk of working at Nova. Go Wildcats!
2000 – 2004
Pennsylvania state schools represent! During undergrad I minored in Journalism, wrote for the school newspaper (snagged an “exclusive” interview with Sinbad the comedian), interned with a PR agency, and worked part-time doing phone surveys for a political opinion research center.
2010
Another awesome opportunity brought to me by my involvement with Poets & Quants. I received a digital media scholarship and completed Wharton’s Seminars for Business Journalists program. Fantastic program. Highly recommended.
2014 – present
In 2014, I joined this awesome group of Philly area PR pros. The networking and educational events have truly been helpful for me in staying current within my field. I’ve also snagged a spot as an occasional guest blogger. Check out some of my past posts.

There aren’t too many things I love more than my church. That’s why when I joined, I was grateful when our Pastor allowed me to bring the passion I have for my craft to help support the ministry. Christ Haven has been featured on numerous local television stations and has received continuous newspaper articles over the years.
